Internship

General Information

The internship, as an integral part of the curriculum, aims to integrate and consolidate the knowledge acquired in the course through the participation of the academic in real situations of work and experience in the means in which it is inserted professionally, and its objectives are:

  • Provide the academic contact with work environments of the computer professional;
  • To enable the development of sensitivity and ability to deal with the human element at different levels;
  • Provide opportunities to increase, integrate and improve knowledge through their application;
  • To allow an evaluation of the field and labor market of the future professional of Computing, as well as of the social, economic and behavioral realities of its future professional class;
  • To develop awareness of the limitations of an undergraduate course, the need for continuous individual improvement and periodic recycling, given the dynamism of technological evolution;
  • Ensure understanding of the need for basic safe training without which practical experience adds little.

For each of the courses offered by Facom / UFMS there is an Internship Committee (COE) responsible for the following courses:
